Volleyball Clinic

Grades 5 and 6

 Friday nights – 5 week clinic from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township-4100 Green Pond Rd, Easton, PA           

 Cost:   $100    Enrollment is limited. Participants will be exposed to levels of play critical in developing skills to perform at the club and high school level. 

Topics of the clinic: Offensive skills:   

• forearm pass….foot movements, body position, platform
• overhead pass…. Hand positions, legs, torso
• serving…toss, contact points, arm motion
• attacking…hand contact, arm swing, foot position, body rotation

 Defensive skills:

• positioning…lower and upper body
• contact:   dig, sprawl, extension, roll
• developing visual recognition

 Tactical  skills

• back row positions:
  • Defensive, offensive and serve receive
• front row positions:
  • Defensive, offensive and serve receive

Agility training:  strength, speed, flexibility, endurance
