MLK Tournament Recap
Synergy had a great weekend at the MLK Tournament in Lancaster bringing home 2 gold medals and several strong semi final performances.
The 13 Orange played up this weekend in the 14 Open division. The girls did a great job of elevating their game to the next age level! The 13's ended up in 5th place of the 14's division!
The 13 Lehigh Valley, also had a great weekend. They played in the 13's division and ended only having 1 loss in the finals to Valley Forge. Great job girls & coaches!
The 14 Orange also had a great weekend only losing to Liberty Belles in the Semi Finals! Great start to your season girls and coaches!
The 15 Orange played very well throuought the weekend losing only in a very tight match to Renaissance in the Finals of the 15 Open division.
The 16 Orange had a good start to their season only losing to Time Out in the 16 Open Semi Finals round.
The 16 Lehigh Valley team went 2-1 the first day losing a heart breaker third game 21-23. On day two had one of the toughest pools, where they lost another heart breaker thrid game 14-16 to a very experienced renaissance team. Keep working hard girls!
The Synergy LV 2 went undefeated in pool play Saturday, and went 2-1 in pool play Sunday. They advanced to the Open Gold finishing 7th overall in the tournament with a record of 10-4 in sets and 5-2 in match play. Their losses came to the two 3rd place finishers.
The 17 Orange had an excellent weekend dominating the 17 Open bracket. In the finals, they met an excellent Yorktowne team dropping the first set. Not to be defeated, they responded by taking the next two sets in convincing fashion to win the tournament.
17 Lehigh Valley had a tough first day pool, but ended the weekend taking silver in the finals of the silver bracket.
18 Orange came out blazing this weekend through all of the competition! In the finals they met a very talented U-Turn team, where they won in two to win the gold! Great job ladies and coaches!
18 Navy had a great start to their season making it to the 18 Silver semi finals! Keep working hard girls!
It was a great weekend for the Orange and Blue. It was also great to see such support from all of the girls, coaches and parents for all of the Synergy Teams! Keep up the hard work girls!
